Preschool is an exciting adventure for your child. Our program is designed for children to learn, play and have fun. We offer two different sections each with a different focus:

Preschool 3- This is for children who have turned 3 before September 15 and are having their first preschool experience. The focus of this class is to get students ready for a classroom - playing with others, recognizing their names, writing their names and learning problem solving and self help skills. This class typically meets 2 mornings a week from 8:30-11:00.

Preschool 4 - This is for children who have turned 4 before September 15 and are getting ready to go to Kindergarten the following fall. The focus of this class is on academics, social skills, literacy and math. This class meets 4 afternoons a week.

We use Creative Curriculum which is a play based curriculum. Children learn best through play, and our weekly focuses and small groups help children learn the best they can. You can count on:

• Independent, teacher-directed, and small-group activities that encourage investigation, exploration, and discovery

• Learning approaches that adapt to each child and incorporate their strengths and interests

• Curriculum that supports creative expression, literacy, music, and more

• Confidence-building opportunities to solve problems and make decisions

• STEM learning that encourages future-forward skills

Students in preschool participate in many of the school wide activities - concerts, plays, technology, music, and Big Buddies just to name a few. Preschool is so much fun and we look forward to teaching your child!
