CKLA Reading

For reading students dive into a variety of social studies and science topics at their academic level. Students will use ideas from the literature to create opinion, narrative, and informational writings.

Fifth graders have the opportunity to join band. Each year, the fifth grade learns about the history of Iowa Falls and takes a walking tour of the town. They also visit the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines as their annual field trip.

Fifth graders are becoming more responsible and preparing for attending middle school the following year.
