Welcome to the website for the Iowa Falls Community School District and Alden Community School District. We believe there is no better school family than our Cadet Family.

The 2024-25 school year will mark my ninth year with our school districts. Before becoming the superintendent for Iowa Falls CSD and Alden CSD, I served as the 9-12 principal at Iowa Falls - Alden High School. Prior to joining the Cadet family, I spent my entire professional career in my hometown of Durant, IA. During my time there, I held roles such as High School Principal, Activities Director, High School Mathematics Teacher, Middle School Mathematics Teacher, National Honor Society Sponsor, Student Council Sponsor, and Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach. Leaving my hometown was a tough decision, but we have truly found a new home here in the IFA Community.

My wife Lindsay and I have four children who all attend Iowa Falls schools. We are fortunate to experience every level of education — elementary, middle school, and high school — which strengthens our personal and professional connection to all our buildings. We take great pride in our staff and educational system. My goal is to ensure that every student, not just our own, receives the best educational experience possible.

I am eager for another great year of learning and leadership within our Cadet Family. The Cadet Experience is only as enriching as our collective effort, a value we instill in our staff. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
