The Facilities at Iowa Falls and Alden CSDs are available to local nonprofit entities which promote cultural, educational, civic, community and/or recreational activities.

Use of our facilities will be permitted only when the use does not interfere with or disrupt the education program or a school-related activity, the use is consistent with state law, and will end no later than midnight.

Groups requesting to use our facilities may or may not be charged a rental fee and/or custodial fees based on the purpose of the group, the purpose of the activity, and the amount of work is required from the district to have the facility ready to use for our normal activities and education program.

Any individual or group found to violate this policy will not be allowed to use school facilities in the future. This included staff members opening up the facilities to groups without following the reservation process.

In general, the following guidelines will be used to determine if a fee will be charged:

*The event is a fundraiser for a school or school-affiliated program - No Charge

*The event involves students from Iowa Falls CSD and/or Alden CSD with equal opportunity to participate with no admission taken - No Charge (examples include team practices and scrimmages)

*The event involves students from Iowa Falls CSD and/or Alden CSD without equal opportunity to participate (invite only or select teams without open tryouts) with no admission taken - Charges based on school policy (examples include team practices and scrimmages)

*The event involves students from Iowa Falls CSD and/or Alden CSD with equal opportunity to participate with admission taken - No Rental Fee, possible Custodial Charge if cleanup is required, possible hourly fee if support personnel needed (examples tournaments, games, performances)

*The event involves students from Iowa Falls CSD and/or Alden CSD without equal opportunity to participate (invite only or select teams without open tryouts) with admission taken - Charges based on school policy (examples tournaments, games, performances)

*The event does not involve students from Iowa Falls and/or Alden CSD - Charges based on school policy (examples include community performances, birthday parties, family reunions, etc)
