Iowa Falls and Alden CSD

During the spring calendar survey, we asked a question gauging the interest in our school districts possibly moving to a 4-day school week. The results of that survey showed more than 50% of the respondents supportive of looking at a 4-day school week. This fall we are following up with a survey that provides more information about a 4-day school week, a sample calendar (based on the current school year), and provides some more information about changes that would need to be made based on a 4-day school week. Here is our bell schedule for tomorrow. Please note that juniors and seniors will have a meeting in the auditorium at 8:25, freshmen at 11:20, and sophomores at 10:55.

We currently are looking for: *Elementary Teachers at Rock Run (a 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Teacher) *Social Studies Teacher at Iowa Falls - Alden High School (includes Government) *Elementary Guidance Counselor - shared between Pineview and Alden Elementary

January 23-Good Afternoon Cadet Family, We are once again asking for all of our stakeholders to provide input into our academic school calendar for the 2024-2025 School Year. The survey will close on Friday, February 9th. The link below will take you to the survey. New this year is a question asking for your initial input on moving to a 4-day school week. We are not currently planning to move in this direction, but with so much discussion from other schools in the state and area, we wanted to get input from our stakeholders.
